Dr. Nemiroff

Julia Nemiroff, M. D. is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist, fellowship-trained medical retina specialist, and founder of the Retina and Eye Clinic of Palm Beach Gardens. Known for combining advanced surgical expertise with a warm, patient-centered approach, she is dedicated to delivering exceptional visual outcomes in a calm, comfortable, and compassionate environment.

Dr. Nemiroff specializes in the medical and laser treatment of retinal disease, including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal tears, and retinal vascular disorders, with additional expertise in refractive cataract and eyelid surgery. She is especially passionate about helping patients preserve and restore vision through the latest advances in retinal imaging, minimally invasive treatments, and modern cataract surgery.

She earned her medical degree from the prestigious NYU Grossman School of Medicine and completed her internship at NYU Winthrop Hospital. She then trained at the renowned UCLA Stein Eye Institute, where she completed her ophthalmology residency under nationally recognized leaders in cataract, retina, and oculoplastic surgery. Dr. Nemiroff went on to complete an elite medical Retina and Uveitis Fellowship at the USC Roski Eye Institute, where she received advanced training in complex retinal disease and inflammatory eye conditions.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Nemiroff has contributed to peer-reviewed ophthalmic research, publishing work focused on advanced retinal imaging and diagnostic technology. After completing her training, she relocated to South Florida and ultimately founded Retina and Eye Clinic of Palm Beach Gardens with the vision of creating a modern, high-touch practice focused on both outstanding medical care and an exceptional patient experience.

Today, Dr. Nemiroff is recognized for her meticulous surgical care, approachable style, and commitment to helping patients maintain lifelong vision and quality of life.
